Mare, 15 years, 10.3 hands
Bonnie is approx 15yrs old and 10.3hh
Shes a lovely and safe lead rein pony. My 2yr old loves leading her round the paddock for ages – Bonnie is so tolerant! If she trips over Bonnie just stops and waits for her to get up
She has never bitten or kicked. She has a lovely nature and whinnies hello and comes over to say hi when she sees you (probably just because she knows she will get a treat lol). She will stand for ages being brushed, stood on and jumped off and my dgter loves sliding off her bum!
My 5yr old has been riding her off lead for approx 6mths but Bonnie prefers to be on a lead and tends to walk to the nearest person standing on the ground if given the chance. She is nice and forward moving – it only takes a gentle squeeze to get her to trot – definitely doesn’t need to be kicked!
She is a sensitive pony and tends to be the bottom of the peaking order so needs a home where she will not be bullied by other ponies
We have had her for just over a yr. I had thought we would keep her a lot longer for my 2yr old but unfortunately we can’t afford 3 ponies and my 5yr old is ready to move on
Shes regularly been to pc for 2 seasons with us, has been doing wkly riding lessons for approx 6wks and shes been on several long treks through the bush and rivers over summer.
She lives with dogs/cats/donkeys/tractors/motorb¬ikes/trains/planes/sheep/and 3 kids
She self floats and my 5yr old loves leading her on/off the float. She is up to date with her feet (she is barefoot) and worming. Her teeth were done on 17.03.12. Being a pony her weight needs to be managed or she can get a sore tummy. She was very overweight with fat rolls when we got her but she hadn’t foundered which is a good sign! As far as I know she never has. She had a foal when she was about 11
She comes with halter, bridle, pony pad, grass reins and cover. A good home is essential for our lovely pony that we are very sad to have to part with!
