Chestnut, Gelding, 8 years, 14.1 hands
Yoda is an 8 year old 1/2 Thoroughbred, 1/4 Quarter Horse and 1/4 Appaloosa Gelding
He was only broken in over Christmas 2011 and has proven to be a superb ride. He has not bucked, reared or bolted - in fact he is quite lazy.. I have had to wear spurs and carry a whip on him some days
He has 3 very nice even paces, a good snaffle mouth and responds to voice commands with ease
Yoda has had just the basic flat work - walk, trot, canter, circles, serpentines, trot poles and has jumped a small cross bar (35cm), he has a tidy jump
I am only leasing Yoda out as we are over stocked at the moment and I don't have a lot of time to fit him in amoungst my other 6 that are in work, but in a year of being ridden or taken to pony club I would be happy for yoda to come home and be used in my riding school
Yoda is excellent to lunge, very responsive and level headed. Again he can be lazy - bring out the lunge whip!
He is ok to worm, trim, float and truck (may need some pursuading to get on but is great while travelling).
He is good to graze with almost anyone - currently grazing with 3 mares and loves it!
I would like yoda to go to someone that is wanting a green horse to bring on a bit or just have fun hacking him around. Not for a learner or nervous rider as he is green
**We do not know who his Sire or Dam are as he was rescued at 6 months old from being abandonned and riddled with blood worms - poor guy**
